a bookish wedding {inspiration}

So being a HUGE bookworm I was intrigued by the "book theme" wedding ideas that kept popping up on Pinterest {yes we are Pinterest-ohlics too}.  Then all of a sudden I started noticing a trend in "book theme" engagement sessions from our local wedding photographers!  Just picture this...  You announce to the world that you are getting married by posing for your engagement pictures snuggling on a blanket with a pile of your favorite novels next to you, or maybe the photographer captures a picture of you sneaking a kiss in the stacks of your favorite used book shop.  Then you walk down the aisle with a bouquet of flowers made from the pages of your favorite story {I promise you, this is SO much prettier than it sounds, oh I wish I had though of this for my wedding!}, then your guests are seated at tables with book titles as "table numbers", and maybe your cake {or cupcakes} are set on stacks of books instead of cake stands!  I could go on and on but it will be so much better to show you the pictures!  These subtle little details are what will make your wedding a literary masterpiece!
